Rob from Asheville Engine (black Shirt) joined local Backyard Bow Pro members to help feed homeless veterans at the Veteran's restoration Quarters in Asheville, NC today. Hundreds of vets got a good meal of venison chilli prepared by professional chef, Derek St. Romain.
Backyard Bow Pro is a 501c3 non-profit charity dedicated to feeding the needy in the local community in which the venison is harvested. Backyard Bow Pro hunters partner with landowners who allow hunting access to BYBP members. The local Backyard Bow Pro chapter in Madison and Buncombe Counties have helped to provided over 350,000 meals through Manna Food Bank and it's partner aggencies in Western North Carolina in the past 4 years.
