We sold an engine to a serviceman who was stationed in FL. He had a Ford Dealership in S. Georgia do the work but when the dealership dropped our engine in his truck, it blew up because they never cleaned out the old intake and it had a bunch of pieces of a broken valve in it. Several dozen pieces of the old valve got sucked into the cylinders, damaging two pistons and one valve.
Not knowing what the problem was, I drove 398 miles to deliver another engine the following day. TWO months later, the Ford Dealership has still not paid their bill to repair the engine.
In the picture you can clearly see a piece of the old valve stuck in the top of the #8 piston and where it hit the new valve.
UPDATE: The dealership finally wrote a check for the new engine that I delivered after fighting with them forb 4 months. They are definitely NOT
a recommended shop!
